Welcome to my part of the Club Scrap blog hop.
This month we are showing Trees
While I was traveling this month, I was mentally making this little book.
I purchased a xl sizzix die that cuts the front & back of the book.
I used grunge board for the covers & I covered the outsides with
adhesive canvas sheets before cutting.
On inside I cut the light green. I used bookbinding glue to adhere the
paper to the covers.
I used three colors to cut for the inside pages. Two of each color.
I printed out some embellishments & saying to use.
I marked the holes for the binding. I’m not sure if
I will have two signatures of three pages or
three signatures of two pages.
I’ve decided to use three signatures.
I used a Japanese screw punch to punch the holes.
I ran some waxed twine through the holes. I did not tie them yet.
I also used ink to rub over the front & back cover.
This is what the inside of each signature looks like .
I will run lay each signature on the back & run the twine
through the holes. I pulled all the pieces to the top hole.
I tie each set twines at the top hole.
I will add some beads to the extra twine.
I cut the tree from the die and some cute little animals.
I want to thank everyone for all of the comments on last months blog.
